Pantomime Rhymes

The leader chooses two words that rhyme. He/she then says, for example, "I'm thinking of a word that rhymes with look". Any player may then say, "Is it____?" Instead of saying the word, the player must pantomime it. He may, for instance, pretend to be reading a book. The leader then says, "No, it is not book" or "Yes, it is book". The person who guesses corectly becomes the leader. Only one-syllable words may be used.

Adjectives

Have each player write an adjective and his name on a slip of paper. Collect the papers and give them to someone who will make up a story using the adjectives coupled with the names. For example, "One day skinny Dorothy and fat Bob went into the woods to pick flowers. As they walked along a dark path they heard screaming. They ran and found silly Steve sitting on a tree branch and georgeous Vicki chasing a mouse away from the tree." Choose an imaginative storyteller to present the story.

Egg Toss

Have two players stand facing each other about three feet apart. Give a raw egg to one of the players who will throw it to the partner. If the partner catches the egg without breaking it, the players each take a step backward. For every accurate catch the players get to take another step backward. If the egg cracks or hits the ground, the couple is eliminated. Several couples may compete to see who can stay in the game the longest.

Raw Egg Relay

Divide a group into two equals teams. Line them up. Place a pot of water containing a raw egg for every player a few feet in front of the first person in each team. Give each team a spoon. At a given signal, the first player gets an egg out of the pot with the spoon and takes it to an egg carton some distance away. If the person should drop the egg, they must clean it up before the next person on the team may proceed. The team filling up their carton first is the winner.
